Polymarket Radar – Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026
Polymarket Radar is a privacy‑first browser extension that injects public Polymarket statistics directly onto X (Twitter) profiles. This policy explains what data we process, how we store it, and your rights as a user.
TL;DR
- We never collect or transmit personal data to our servers.
- All processing happens locally in your browser.
- Only public information from X and Polymarket APIs is read.
- Caches are stored in Chrome extension storage and can be cleared at any time.
What we do
- Read public X profile data visible on the page (display name, handle, bio) to detect linked Polymarket accounts.
- Request public data from Polymarket’s APIs (leaderboard, positions, volume, P&L).
- Cache API responses locally for up to 15 minutes (stats) or 24 hours (account linking) to improve performance.
- Render the fetched statistics in a glass‑morphic UI that matches the site’s dark‑tech aesthetic.
Permissions we request
- Storage – to keep cached API responses and optional user settings.
- x.com / twitter.com – to inject the UI on visited X pages.
- Polymarket API hosts – to fetch public market data.
Data you control
All cached data lives only in your browser. You can clear it any time via Chrome → More tools → Extensions → Polymarket Radar → Remove or by clicking the extension’s “Clear data” button in its options page.
Third‑party services
- X (Twitter) – the pages you visit; governed by X’s own privacy policy.
- Polymarket – public API endpoints; governed by Polymarket’s terms of service.
Referral links
If a profile does not have a linked Polymarket account, the extension may display a link with a referral parameter (e.g., ?r=appledog1). Using the link may generate a referral benefit for the extension author. You are free to navigate directly to Polymarket without using the referral link.
Children’s privacy
Polymarket Radar is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
